| People normally progress from the Beginners'
to this class and those with some previous knowledge of dancing also join
this class. Participants should be familiar with basic steps
including Pas de Basque, Skip change, Slipping steps and Strathspey
setting and travelling. They should also have some knowledge of
Allemande, Pousette, Corners and Reels of Three. Dancing teaching
will always be fun in this class. If you have done some Scottish Country Dancing before but have progressed from the Beginners' class or are a little rusty - this is the class for you! If you can't remember some of the above named formations - don't worry - this is the class that will revise and teach you these formations and move you onto the next step. We have a pianist as your accompanist and the teacher (as in all classes) is a fully certified Scottish Country Dance Teacher. Back to Class Details. |
