They will take  place in the Boys Brigade Hall on the corner of Crimon Place and Summer Street in Aberdeen and started at 7:30 and finished at 9:45There is parking on the streets nearby or in Chapel Street carpark.

On the 2nd June and 11th August we are holding family nights.  Please bring along your son, daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew, cousin!  Dancing for the family will commence at 7:00 and will continue until 8:00.  Adult only dancing from 8:00 to 8:30 and then from 8:45 to 9:45.  Please do come along early if you wish to join in the fun!  Children are free, Adults will pay the usual fee.

Please note that on Wednesday 9th June we will be at Holburn West Church (9 Ashley Park Drive, AB10 6RY) as the Boys Brigade Hall is not available.

During the evening we have a break for a cup of tea and a biscuit (or two) and time for a chat and gossip.  Cost for the evening is £4.00 for adults and £2.50 for under 25s.

All dancers living or visiting Aberdeen are very welcome to along to any of our Summer Socials.  You don't need to be a member of the Society, just to have done some Scottish Country Dancing (this is not a Ceilidh Class), have a pair of pumps (or light trainers) and we will do the rest!  This is not suitable for complete beginners.

We dance to a live musician (often an accordion) and every dance is called by a teacher.

The very name of the evenings invokes friendliness so please feel that you can come along and enjoy the evening even if you don't know anyone in Aberdeen.

If you would like to feel welcomed or would like any further information , please contact Lynn Wood our secretary on 01224 636128 and she will be pleased to answer any questions you have!

Classes for Children start in August, classes for Adults start in September.  No venues have yet been finalised.
