There is parking on the streets nearby or in Chapel Street carpark. On Wednesday 4th June we are holding a family night. Please bring along a young person (son, daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew). Dancing for the family will commence at 7:00 and will continue until 8:00. Adult only dancing after 8:30 - but do come along early if you wish to join in the fun! Children are free, Adults £3.50 as usual. Please note that on Wednesday 11th June when we will be at Holburn West Church. Wednesday 13th August will be a Drewry evening. During the evening we have a break for a cup of
tea and a biscuit (or two) and time for a chat and gossip. All dancers living or visiting Aberdeen are very welcome to along to any of our Summer Socials. You don't need to be a member of the Society, just to have done some Scottish Country Dancing (this is not a Ceilidh Class), have a pair of pumps (or light trainers) and we will do the rest! We dance to a live musician (usually an accordion) and every dance is called by a teacher. The very name of the evenings invokes friendliness so please feel that you can come along and enjoy the evening even if you don't know anyone in Aberdeen. If you would like to feel welcomed or would like any further information , please contact Lynn Wood our secretary on 01224 636128 and she will be pleased to answer any questions you have! Classes for Children will start in August, classes for Adults will start in September, details from July on this website. Back to Home Page |
