Those attending this class will be expected to demonstrate technical accuracy and have a sound grasp of all the SCD formations and their variations.  Dancers will have achieved a high standard of performance in all aspects and have a level of fitness to sustain that standard throughout. They will be expected to work towards improving performance. Dancers should be prepared to participate in demonstrations and festival work when required.

The class is accompanied by either an accordion or pianist and the teacher (as in all classes) is a fully certified Scottish Country Dance Teacher.
