Venue - Curl Aberdeen AB15 6LN (click here for map).  Parking is free and there will be a different MC every evening with a musician. 

Timings - 7:30 - 9:45 with a break (bring your own refreshments) and time for a chat and gossip!

Cost for the evening is £7:00 for non-RSCDS members and £5.00 for RSCDS members (any Branch). (18-25s £4 or £3 if a member.)

We have a Jubilee themed evening on the 1st June, a Family Night on 22nd June and a Ceilidh evening on 27th July.

All dancers living or visiting Aberdeen are very welcome to come along to any of our Summer Socials.  You don't need to be a member of the Society, just to have done some Scottish Country Dancing (this is not Ceilidh dancing), have a pair of pumps (or light trainers) and we will do the rest!  The socials are not suitable for complete beginners but why not look at our classes starting from September?

We dance to a live musician (often an accordion) and every dance is called by a teacher and the dances are usually walked through.

The very name of the evenings invokes friendliness so please feel that you can come along and enjoy the evening even if you don't know anyone in Aberdeen.
